More sprites for that fairy tale castlevania thing!
Also a small note to anyone savy in game resolutions and proper tile sizing.
The recent sprites I’ve been working on are based on a 24x24 tileset. The resolution I’ve been working on is 600 x 360 (seen on the left), and the target resolution is 1200 x 720.
Now then I know the proper res is 1280 x 768 (640x384) (seen on the right), but this poses some problems for me. Mainly, the tiles go from 24x24 to 26x25, and the more evident fact that the characters are a bit off from their previous measurements.
My question is, should I really worry about making sure my screen resolution is within the regular measurements seen in a lot of PC games? Or am I worrying too much about the pixel sizes?
